Huntsville area CEOs get soaked for ALS

The Alabama Chapter of the ALS Association and many community leaders teamed up this past Tuesday to raise critical funds and awareness for the fight against ALS by participating in The ALS Association’s CEO Soak at the Brahan Spring Park Splash Pad. 

Leaders included Lee Mixon, CEO of GovConBids; Joe Paschall, Vice-President of nLogic; Kim Lewis, CEO of Project XYZ; Asa Gilliland, President of Redstone GCI; Scott McDaniel, CEO of Simple Helix; Chad Donald, IMG 9493CEO of Avion Inc.; Bob Ludwig, Retired, former publisher at the Huntsville Times; Jon McKannan, CEO of  Laysan Bio; Sarah Savage-Jones, CEO of the Huntsville Hospital Foundation; Tim McCarter, CEO of 1st Edge; Jeff Gronberg, CEO of deciBel Research; Jason Swafford, Owner of JS Solutions; Stephanie Kennedy-Mell, COO of Church Street Family Hospitality; Neil Lamb, President of HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology; Jenny Askins, CEO of Destination Huntsville; Daniel Kasambira, CEO of United Way; Chad Emerson, CEO of Downtown Huntsville; and Stuart Obermann, retired former ALS National Board member.

Inspired by the success of The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, which transformed the fight against ALS, the CEO Soak is an opportunity for local business leaders to agree to get soaked all over again while challenging colleagues and peers to do whatever it takes to find treatments and a cure for ALS.
