Intuitive Research Announces $100M Combined Contract Wins
HUNTSVILLE, AL – Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation (INTUITIVE®) announced that the company will provide cyber expertise to Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WR-ALC) and Program Executive Officer for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) through its most recent awards amounting to a combined total of over $100M.
WR-ALC provides engineering support and software development to major Air Force weapon systems. In order to execute its mission, WR-ALC’s systems are subject to robust cybersecurity compliance, cyber assessments, industrial process validation, and risk mitigation requirements, which impact the availability and resiliency of WR-ALC assets. Through this award, INTUITIVE will provide its support in a wide range of cybersecurity efforts, such as compliance assessments, gap closure, risk determination, and mitigation.
Additionally, WR-ALC requires increased capabilities in test planning, test tool development, training, test execution, analysis, and reporting. INTUITIVE’s team of cyber and test engineers will perform compliance and cyber resiliency of Operational Technology (OT) such as Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition and Industrial Control Systems (SCADA/ICS).
Software Solutions Division Manager, Tyler Carter said, “We are excited to continue INTUITIVE’s support to the Air Force and Warner Robbins. Our cyber and test engineering capabilities continue to grow, and we are excited to bring these skills and abilities to WR-ALC. As the WR-ALC mission grows more complex, our team of cyber and test professionals stand ready to fill the gap with valuable, timely, and resilient solutions.”
INTUITIVE’s continued cyber support to PEO STRI includes aid to Developmental/Operational tests, Combatant Command (CCMD) assessments in support of Director, Operational Test & Evaluation (DOT&E), Cyberspace Operational Resilience Assessment – Platforms Deep Cyberspace Resiliency Assessment programs, and the development of emerging Cyber Threat tools.
In support of test and threat activities, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) will be utilized to discover patterns, make predictions, understand data relationships, and anticipate high-probability threat actions.
“Not only are we excited to continue our support to PEO STRI, but we are thrilled to be collocated with our customer in both Huntsville and Orlando. I think what makes us unique is that our proximity model allows us to align capabilities with our customer base – this award is a perfect example. This new cyber work allows our team of cyber, test, and data science professionals to provide test, evaluation, and training solutions across multiple PEO STRI locations including our new Central Florida office,” said Carter.
