Barre3 Brings its Full-Body Fitness Program to Huntsville
It’s mindfulness from the inside out and full-body workouts that deliver results.
Coming soon to Central Park Villagee, Barre3 will offer an inclusive environment that supports physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Barre3 workouts combine strength conditioning, cardio, and mindfulness designed to create a balanced body and a healthy lifestyle. People from all walks of life, ages, and fitness levels can come together to support each other while building a healthier body, mind, and spirit.

Mandy Simons
The Portland, Ore.-based boutique fitness franchise has more than 160 studios, nationwide. The Huntsville studio will be the first of its kind in North Alabama.
“It is an excellent location,” said Mandy Simons, owner/instructor. “We are situated in central Huntsville within walking distance to many restaurants and retailers.”
The 2,800 square feet of window-filled studio space allows for plenty of natural sunlight. The antimicrobial cork floors, natural wood, and delicate neutral color are all signatures of the Barre3 brand.
There are locker rooms, on-site showers, and a community space where guests can take a moment for themselves. Barre3 will also have a pre-school/play lounge that will offer educational and sensory exercises for the kids.
There will also be a large retail area where clients can purchase clothing, accessories, beauty products, and locally made goods.
“Every brand sold in studio has meaning and a ‘why’ behind it,” said Simons. “Whether the product is created in partnership with a female-owned brand, has a giveback component, or is manufactured in the USA, all have been thoughtfully curated with the Barre3 client in mind.”
Barre3’s core values include emotional and mental fitness – not just physical fitness.
“I’ve been an instructor in the boutique fitness industry for 8 years. Barre3 has completely reshaped my view on fitness. We strive to create goals that celebrate progress, not perfection,” said Simons. “Health is much more than a physical expression; it includes emotional and mental wellbeing. In every Barre3 class, clients are encouraged to appreciate their bodies and let go of unrealistic expectations.”
Barre3 is hosting classes via Zoom. In-person classes start this month at locations throughout Huntsville. Weekday sessions are at the ACA Tennis Club; Saturdays, at Lowe Mill; Sunday afternoons, Barre3 will meet at Big Spring Park through the end of May. The studio’s grand opening will be in June.
The Barre3 studio has the capacity for 30 people per class. However, once open, the COVID-19 recommendations will determine how many people can participate in each session.
“We hope to open at full capacity in June, but our number one concern is the safety of our clients,” said Simons. “Our outdoor classes are open to unlimited attendance with social distancing. We encourage everyone to check us out on social media for class details.”
