May 29, 2025/in Featured, Lead, News, Top 40/by Sarah Zupko

Andrew Banks is a partner at Conchin, Cole, Jordan & Sherrod, where he represents individuals and businesses in high-stakes litigation. His practice focuses on product liability, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, insurance disputes, and negligent construction claims.

Even in his early career, Andrew has already secured millions of dollars in recoveries on behalf of his clients. His tireless work ethic and ability to craft compelling legal arguments has been recognized across the industry.

Andrew is a dean’s list graduate of Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and Florida State University.

Beyond his legal practice, Andrew is a leader in the Huntsville legal and civic communities. He presently serves on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyers Section of the Huntsville Bar Association, is a member of Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s Development Council, and is actively involved in the First Watch Foundation.

What do you love most about living and working in Huntsville?

What I love most about Huntsville is the genuine sense of community and opportunity it provides. Practicing law here is rewarding because I’m serving a community where personal relationships truly matter. It’s the ideal city for my family, providing opportunities to thrive both professionally and personally.

What’s your best advice for starting a career in the Rocket City?

Get involved in the community and genuinely invest in relationships. Huntsville values hard work and authentic engagement—qualities that help young professionals quickly thrive. Don’t ever let someone tell you that you aren’t good enough or cannot accomplish what you set out to do.

How do you like to give back to the community and why is it important to you?

I love seeing the tangible impact we can make. Being part of Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s Development Council and active with First Watch Foundation gives me the opportunity to witness firsthand the resolve of this community to come together and help their neighbor.

How do you spend your time outside of work?

When I am not working, you will usually find me spending time with my family or on the golf course.

Where is your favorite place to relax in Huntsville?

My family and I love to take walks through Big Spring Park.
