Huntsville Area Association of REALTORS® Announces Prestigious Annual Award Winners

The Huntsville Area Association of REALTORS® (HAAR) has announced the winners of its annual awards, honoring professionals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the real estate industry and meaningful service to the Huntsville community. The awards recognize those whose contributions have significantly impacted both their profession and the region they serve.

HAAR REALTOR® of the Year: Rod Schumann

The pinnacle of HAAR’s local awards, the REALTOR® of the Year award, was bestowed upon Rod Schumann. With an impressive 43-year career, Rod’s dedication to ethical conduct and his profound impact on the North Alabama real estate landscape have been exemplary. A pioneer at Rise Real Estate during its formative years, Schumann has consistently contributed to the growth and integrity of the local industry through his service on numerous HAAR committees and the Board of Directors. His decades of unwavering commitment make him a truly deserving recipient.

HAAR Good Neighbor Award: Tere Calloway

The HAAR Good Neighbor Award, which honors members who make extraordinary contributions to the community, was awarded to Tere Calloway. Tere’s remarkable generosity and community spirit have touched countless lives. His initiatives include providing essential school supplies to students, ensuring families had Thanksgiving meals, and notably, his selfless act of paying a critical utility bill for the Rose of Sharon Kitchen, a vital resource for the homeless. Beyond these impactful actions, Tere also dedicates his time to mentoring young athletes at Columbia High School, embodying the true spirit of a good neighbor.

HAAR Broker Excellence Award: Bill Stewart

Bill Stewart was recognized with the HAAR Broker Excellence Award, which honors brokers who lead with integrity, foster a culture of professionalism, and demonstrate exceptional leadership and mentorship. With 25 years of experience in North Alabama real estate, including founding his own successful company, Stewart has built a reputation for prioritizing his clients’ best interests. He is also deeply committed to the professional development of his team, providing continuous training and mentorship. Stewart’s dedication extends to the wider community through his involvement with charitable organizations such as Enable Madison County, Free 2 Teach, and St. John’s Catholic Church.

HAAR Affiliate of the Year Award: Adreanne Humphrey

The HAAR Affiliate of the Year Award recognizes an affiliate member who has provided exceptional expertise and support to the real estate industry and the community. Adreanne Humphrey of Two Men and a Truck was honored for her outstanding contributions. Her leadership of the “Movers for Moms” program, which provides essential items to mothers in need, exemplifies her commitment to community service. Adreanne is also actively involved in HAAR, serving on the Gala Committee and demonstrating a consistent dedication to the success of the association and its members.

HAAR Announces Nominees for Alabama Association of REALTORS® State Awards
