HBJMadison Ambassadors for Feeding the Frontline

Ya Gotta Eat! Madison Chamber’s Feeding the Frontline Program Extended into June

June 2, 2020/in Lead/by Kimberly Ballard

MADISON — The Madison Chamber of Commerce is continuing donations through this month for Feeding the Frontline.

HBJmadisonalstrong T shirtsThe program started in April to provide meals for those in the community who have worked tirelessly throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Those most-affected include medical professionals, law enforcement and emergency workers, sanitation workers and even postal workers, all of whom have provided essential those services to the community nonstop since the pandemic began.

As a result, Taziki’s Mediterranean Café has delivered hundreds of dinners, and Chick-fil-A has provided hundreds of lunches to workers at Madison Hospital, the Madison Police and Fire departments, HEMSI, Madison Garbage and Trash Service and the Madison Post Office on Hughes Road over the past two months.

Madison restaurants have also delivered hundreds of gift cards to these workers.

Madison Chamber Ambassadors have been active in the community letting people know about the cause and the Madison Chamber thanks all the local businesses and individuals who have contributed, raising more than $5,300. However, until the pandemic has passed, more help is still needed.

Register at Feeding the Frontline to contribute and get a free #MadisonALStrong t-shirt with every $15 donation.
