Technica Awarded $38M IT Contract from FBI
Technica has been awarded a $38 million Network Services and Engineering Support contract for the FBI. The contract will provide support for the FBI’s data, optical and communications networks.
According to a news release, the services will be provided in the FBI headquarters in Washington and the agency’s new facilities in Huntsville.
Technica provides high-end systems engineering and operations for mission-critical networks and applications. If all options are exercised, the contract is worth up to $38 million over four and a half years. the release said.
“Technica has supported the FBI for more than 15 years in various critical engineering and network architecture roles, delivering essential innovation,” said Technica President and CEO Miguel Collado. “This award reinforces our commitment to the FBI’s intelligence-driven organization through low-risk, high quality, and innovative information services to establish efficient retrieval, sharing, and use of information, securely enabling the FBI to protect America from criminal and terrorist threats.”
