Wilson Plastic Surgery Center Going Up in Jones Valley

August 18, 2021/in Construction, Health Care, News, Small Business/by Kimberly Ballard

Filling a need, Wilson Plastic Surgery recently broke ground for a facility in Huntsville’s Jones Valley.

Robins & Morton, a Birmingham-based construction firm with a location in Huntsville and specializing in building health care facilities, joined Dr. Patrick Wilson and Fuqua & Partners Architects in the ceremony. The two-story, 13,000-square-foot facility is in the Lendon Commercial District at 2620 Carl T. Jones Drive.

The center also includes a clinic and medspa; it will be renamed Huntsville Plastic Surgery once construction is complete next summer.

It will be the only plastic surgery center in the state to have a Certificate of Need, which enables Wilson to perform cosmetic and insurance surgery.

Wilson Plastic Surgery is moving from its office in the Pullen Building at the corner of Madison Street and St, Clair Avenue in downtown Huntsville.

“Having our own state-of-the-art surgery center will enable us to provide our patients with a higher level of safety, privacy, and convenience,” said Wilson. “It will also allow us to be more flexible in scheduling and accommodating our patients.”

Robins & Morton also specializes in building hospitality, higher education, entertainment, and sports industry buildings and government facilities. In addition to its Huntsville office, Robins & Morton has offices in Charlotte, Dallas, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, San Antonio and Tampa.

“We grateful for the trust placed in us by Dr. Patrick Wilson to complete his new surgery center,” said Robins & Morton Division Manager Mitch Coley. “In all of the ways we see Huntsville is growing, we’re thrilled to be completing a piece of one of the newest up-and-coming districts in the southeastern part of the city.”

Construction is scheduled for completion in late summer 2022.
