HUNTSVILLE, AL – The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is excited to announce the start of a new ‘shop local’ campaign called SHOP LOCAL-OPOLY. This campaign will offer participants the opportunity to be put in a drawing to win up to $650 worth of gift cards from our local businesses!

The campaign is designed after the popular board game Monopoly™ with participants collecting different spaces on our customized game board. The game board consists of 26 local businesses in Huntsville/Madison County that are shaping our community’s unique character and personality. Each player is asked to collect at least 5 receipts from any of the 26 companies on the board to enter our drawing of prizes.

Participants must shop between Nov. 1 and Dec. 1 to be eligible to win. Three winners will be chosen to win either $250, $400, or $650 in gift cards to the participating local businesses. Those winners will be announced at our Business & Brews event on Dec. 1. Winners will pick up their prize at the Chamber starting Dec. 2. Multiple entries are allowed – five receipts equal one entry.
