Freedom Real Estate & Capital celebrates 10th anniversary with new tenants and community impact

September 20, 2024/in Community Development, Events, Featured, Lead, News, Workforce Development/by Gus Wintzell

Freedom Real Estate & Capital, LLC marked its 10th anniversary in a celebration that brought together local officials, business leaders, and community members.

The event featured two significant announcements: the introduction of the first tenants at The Offices at Hays Farm and a generous donation of $10,000 to 10 local charities.

“Freedom has come a long way from its origins,” said Bill Roark, CEO of Freedom Real Estate & Capital. “We initially managed properties for our sister company, Torch Technologies, but we’ve since expanded into a comprehensive commercial real estate firm. Today, we offer one of the most diverse portfolios of services in North Alabama, including brokerage, construction, development, consulting, and property management.”

One of Freedom’s recent developments is The Offices at Hays Farm, a 54,000-square-foot, three-story Class-A office building in the Hays Farm community. The office complex offers stunning views of south Huntsville and is adjacent to the scenic Hays Farm Central Park.

During the event, Roark announced that Thompson Gray and Gray Analytics would be the first tenants, occupying the entire third floor and much of the second floor. “We are excited to welcome Thompson Gray and Gray Analytics to The Offices at Hays Farm,” Roark said. “They’re an ideal fit for this space, and we’re thrilled they’ve chosen to make it their home.”

Ron Gray, CEO of Thompson Gray and founder of Gray Analytics, also expressed his enthusiasm. “The location is perfect for both our customers and employees, with easy access to Redstone Arsenal and the amenities of Hays Farm. As a long-time partner of Bill Roark, I’m proud to associate our companies with the high standards set by Freedom and Torch.”

Freedom Real Estate & Capital, along with its parent company, Starfish Holdings, also announced plans to relocate their offices to the second floor of The Offices at Hays Farm, leaving approximately 18,000 square feet available for lease on the first floor.

In addition to the tenant announcement, Freedom celebrated its milestone by donating $10,000 each to 10 local charities, including Alabama A&M University, Alzheimer’s Association, American Heart Association, Breakthrough T1D, Downtown Rescue Mission, Family Services Center, Food Bank of North Alabama, Free2Teach, give256 and New Hope Children’s Clinic.
