Happy Thanksgiving from the Huntsville Business Journal team!

November 28, 2024/in Featured, Lead, News/by Gus Wintzell

Dear Readers,

I wanted to wish all of our readers, contributors, advertising partners, and supporters a very Happy Thanksgiving. This is one of my very favorite holidays. It’s not the food nor the football, but it is the friends and family that highlights this time of year. Family is often there when it feels like nobody or nothing else is, and I am so very thankful for my north Alabama family. I urge you to reach out to all those you love and remind them of how thankful you are for having them in your life. It will mean more than you think it will!

You all have supported our publication each and every year I have been here, and I cannot thank you enough. It is with these heavy words that I announce to our readership that I am transitioning to a new job, effective Monday, December 02. My time here has seen some intense growth, incredible partnerships, and continuous community support. For this, I am so very thankful for my HSV community. I will still be around, so please keep in touch.

A reminder: please be safe traveling, cooking, and discussing politics with you family this week. And, be nice this Friday. Enjoy the ability to shop and eat, and don’t abuse that free time. I urge everyone also to take some time to rest. The Holiday season has always been busy, kicked off by Black Friday shopping, but I also believe that it can be restful. You have an entire city of support, in this case.

Once again, Happy Thanksgiving. Much love!

Best,

Gus Wintzell
