Chamber recognizes the best of the best with annual Best Places To Work Awards

May 18, 2026/in Awards, Events, Featured, Lead, News/by Bud McLaughlin

Jeff Williams of Offset Strategic Services may have said it best after his company was recognized as a “Best Place to Work.”

“We’re not satisfied,” he said. “We’re going to strive to get better every day.”

Offset Strategic Services was a Silver Award winner in Thursday’s annual Huntsville/Madison County Chamber’s Best Places to Work Awards in a packed Von Braun Center Saturn Ballroom.

Hosted by Stephanie Kennedy-Mell, co-owner of Church Street Family Hospitality, and Tracy Doughty, president & COO of Huntsville Hospital, the event celebrates businesses that create an excellent workplace culture through employee engagement, strong leadership and communication.

Local companies who have earned the designation as a Best Place for Working Parents – a program now in its third year in the Huntsville area – were also recognized Thursday.

Nearly 200 companies were nominated and 97 qualified as contenders for the award, according to Ashley Engles-Ross, the chamber’s vice president for small business. More than 6,700 completed surveys were tabulated by Quantum Workplace to determine the winning companies.
