ARC Realty, Capstone Realty Announce Partnership
Two of Alabama’s largest real estate companies have come together in a partnership that reshapes the landscape of the state’s real estate market. Huntsville’s Capstone Realty has combined with ARC Realty, which focuses primarily on the Birmingham and Montgomery markets.
The resulting entity is the largest independent real estate brokerage in Alabama.
This new partnership will support more than 600 agents in 10 offices and will span across the state of Alabama.
Beyond their significant presence in major metro markets such as Birmingham, Huntsville, and Montgomery, they also service Smith Lake, Lake Martin, Shelby County, Auburn, and Opelika.
The two legacy companies will maintain their individual branding and day-to-day leadership to avoid any disruptions in operations or the market.
The partnership is designed to provide both parties with a greater economy of scale for tools and services, new perspectives for idea sharing, and more security for future growth.
“ARC Realty has done an incredible job of building out services for their agents and developing a reliable and trusted brand, but what really enticed us was the similarity of their culture and their focus on relationships and community,” says Diane Hasley, President of Capstone Realty.
Formed mere months after the chaotic recession of 2008, Capstone survived the turbulent aftermath of the credit crunch to become one of the largest locally-owned real estate companies in Madison County. Last year, Capstone was recognized as one of REAL Trends Nation’s Best Brokerages, among the top one percent of all brokerage firms in the country.
Halsey’s counterpart at ARC Realty was appreciative of their Huntsville-based partner.
“This partnership will have a direct and positive impact on all of our agents and their clients,” said Beau Bevis, President and CEO of ARC Realty. “Huntsville is a growing market and the Capstone team has done a great job capitalizing on it. We are excited to get the exchange of ideas flowing so that both brands can continuously improve.”
