4Site Acquired by Birmingham-based Schoel

June 27, 2019/in News, Small Business/by Bud McLaughlin

BIRMINGHAM — Huntsville-based 4Site has been acquired by Schoel, a Birmingham-based land-development services firm.

4Site, established in 2003, is an interdisciplinary civil engineering, land surveying and landscape architecture firm.

Schoel has been providing civil engineering, land surveying, land planning and landscape architecture services through the Southeast since 1888.

“We are excited to combine our teams and services with Schoel, as they always have exemplified the values we also strive to achieve,” said 4Site President Jerry Cargile. “Becoming a part of Schoel affords our company and our team the opportunity to take on new and exciting projects.

“While our name is changing, we want the community to know that they will continue working with the same great Huntsville team with expanded capabilities.”

Schoel will integrate 4Site’s portfolio into its existing service offerings, and will expand its operations to 4Site’s Huntsville location. Terms of the acquisition were undisclosed.

“We are pleased to join forces with 4Site, a respected firm with which we share a common vision and values, to grow our footprint as we continue to evolve our business across several areas of specialization,” said Walter Schoel III, president of Schoel. “Together, our strengths and expertise across multiple disciplines will bring peace of mind, minimized risk and creative solutions to complex problems for clients across the Southeast, one company with two locations.”
