Tom Brown’s Restaurant to Open at The Market at Hays Farm

December 17, 2020/in Food/dining, News, Small Business/by staff reports

A popular Madison restaurant will be the first restaurant at The Market at Hays Farm.

Tom Brown’s Restaurant has signed on to open a second location at the South Huntsville development, Atlanta-based real estate investor and developer Branch Properties announced.  The steak and seafood restaurant will occupy a 6,000-square-foot space at the Publix- and Staples-anchored development.

Owned and operated by seasoned restaurateurs Tom Brown and Paul Daley, the eatery focuses on providing the freshest ingredients in a casual, yet elevated, atmosphere.

“Despite a challenging year, my team and I are looking forward to continuing our passion and growing our restaurant brand as one of the top choices for premium casual dining in the Huntsville area,” Brown said in the announcement. “The Market at Hays Farm will be an ideal location as we expand into the community, and we are looking forward to opening our doors next fall.”

Tom and Ashley Brown are giving the South Huntsville restaurant its own vibe.

The Huntsville restaurant will be different from the flagship restaurant at The Shoppes of Madison with its own vibe and atmosphere. Brown and his wife, Ashley, are designing the new restaurant with modern, cool colors, complemented by bold pieces of art and gold hardware accents.

The Market at Hays Farm is a 111,233-square-foot shopping center under development in the up-and-coming Hays Farm area of Huntsville, destined to become one of the most prominent shopping and dining offerings in the city.

Anchored by Publix and Staples, the development will also feature a mix of tenants appealing to the surrounding neighborhoods, including the Goodall Homes community, which will add single-family homes for more than 400 families in the larger Hays Farm development.

“As we continue to identify a variety of uses to best serve the surrounding Huntsville area, we are looking forward to The Market at Hays Farm becoming a valuable component of the burgeoning area and overall Hays Farm project,” said Branch Partner and Head of Asset Management Brett Horowitz. “Tom Brown’s will bring a top-tier, yet approachable, dining experience to the center, and we look forward to its continued success as the brand grows.”

Tom Brown’s Restaurant at The Market of Hays Farm is slated to open late next fall.
