Gaylor Electric ranks nationally on the annual list of Top-Performing Construction Contractors

Gaylor Electric was nationally recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) as a top performer in their fifth annual Top Performers publication.

Associated Builders and Contractors is a national construction industry trade association established in 1950 that represents more than 21,000 members. Founded on the merit shop philosophy, ABC and its 69 chapters help members develop people, win work and deliver that work safely, ethically and profitably for the betterment of the communities in which ABC and its members work.

ABC’s coveted list contains contactor members that are committed to executing the country’s most innovative, quality-driven, and safe projects across the country, ranked by hours worked.

To be eligible, Top Performers must demonstrate world-class safety performance and construction process.

One must achieve Gold status or higher in ABC’s Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) Management System, which ensures the contractor is six times safer than the national average. Gaylor Electric has continuously received the highest acknowledgment, Diamond level STEP Certification.

Through STEP, the contractor must also be an Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) certified. The prestigious AQC publicly recognizes and honors those who have documented their commitment to quality, safety, talent management, craft and management education, and community relations.

“Gaylor Electric is on the frontier in the construction industry for delivering work safely, profitably, and ethically. It is rewarding to have our outstanding efforts celebrated as a national Top Performer,” said President & CEO Chuck Goodrich.
