Jennifer Lee Named Crestwood Practice Executive

June 1, 2023/in Community Development, Featured, Lead, Medical, News, People, Recognition, Success/by Gus Wintzell

Crestwood Medical Center announced that Jennifer Lee has been named as the new Practice Executive for the thirteen Crestwood Medical Group outpatient, walk-in, and specialty clinics.

Jennifer recently joined the Administration team in May 2023 as a seasoned Healthcare Executive. She has managed large ACOs in Hawaii and Texas. Lee was the first Market Operations Director for Evergreen Nephrology in Alabama where she managed the first of its kind value based care program for two Nephrology clinics in Huntsville and Birmingham.

“Being a military spouse afforded me so many unique career opportunities within healthcare that I feel have prepared me for this executive role at Crestwood. As the Army assigned our family to new duty locations, it was challenging for me to find a role as an administrator, but I continued to pursue roles in areas such as provider relations and value based care that I felt would best align with my growth path when we found a permanent home,” said Lee.

Prior to joining Evergreen, she was a value based care pioneer for OptumCare and Wellmed Medical Management for nine years. She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Practice Management from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Drexel University. She is passionate about provider relations, clinic expansion, and joining the Crestwood team.

In an interview with the Huntsville Business Journal, Lee mentioned that she is passionate about joining Crestwood during a time of incredible growth.

“I am greatly looking forward to the continued growth within our Crestwood footprint. It is an exciting time to have joined this amazing team as we continue to open new family practices and walk in clinics,” stated Lee.
