Intrepid secures near $900M contract for Army Enterprise Business Systems support

Intrepid LLC has been awarded an $850 million, five-year cost-plus-fixed-fee contract by the Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal to provide comprehensive support and services for the General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS).

The Enterprise Resource Planning Business Initiatives (ERP BI II) Task Order will see Intrepid offering its expertise to various military and defense entities.

These include the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command Center of Excellence, Studies and Analysis Division; the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA-FM&C); the Defense Health Agency; and the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine & Surgery.

Under this contract, Intrepid will focus on maintaining and enhancing health, commerce, and economic growth through several key activities. These include supporting GFEBS system requirements definitions, analyzing solutions proposed by system integrators or developers, recommending process improvements, providing technical support to end users, handling training requests, and offering governance and management support for ASA-FM&C leadership.

“The Intrepid Team is humbled to be chosen. It is truly an honor to have the opportunity to continue supporting our customer’s critical missions,” stated Mike Makee, Intrepid Business Unit Manager.

In addition to the above responsibilities, Intrepid will oversee the lifecycle of financial system requirements, including the GFEBS family of systems, the financial aspect of the Global Combat Support System-Army, U.S. Army FM optimization, enterprise architecture, innovation, and support for organizations deploying into GFEBS or GFEBS-Sensitive Activities.

Mark Vaporis, President of Intrepid, expressed his gratitude for the continued partnership.

“Intrepid is distinctly appreciative of the opportunity to continue to support SMDC, ASA(FM&C), FMCOM, and others through this contract. Their mission is critically important to Army auditability and advancement, and I am proud of the contributions of our longstanding team, inclusive of many trusted corporate partners. We’re looking forward to continuing to advance their mission objectives and contribute to the successful convergence of the Army Enterprise,” said Vaporis.

The OASIS task order contract includes a three-year base period valued at $446 million, with an additional two-year option period. The work will be performed across multiple locations, including the National Capital Region, Huntsville, AL, and Indianapolis, IN, among other customer sites.
