If a more classic romantic experience is what you prefer, Baker & Able in downtown Huntsville has you covered. The restaurant has delicious love-themed drinks and dessert specials perfect for a date night on the roof. Or, if you want to bring a group of friends, reserve an igloo that overlooks the city. Igloo experiences can be reserved online and, at the time of publication, are available on Saturday, February 15.

5. Coffee, Dessert, and a Walk Around the Park

For another fun date, wear your walking shoes and check out one of Huntsville’s favorite bakeries, The Moon Bakeshop! The bakery has several specials ready to enjoy with your Valentine. With your treats in hand, head down the street a few blocks for a scenic walk through Big Spring Park!

6. Wine and Music

ChurchStreet Wine Bar & Bottle Shoppe is the perfect place for a romantic evening if you’re ready for a good glass of wine and some relaxing music. The wine bar will serve a special Valentine’s Wine Flight on Friday and Saturday night and offer its signature piano bar experience.

7. Picnic and a Hike

Do you love carbs and outdoor activities? Head to Mason Dixon Bakery & Bistro or Canadian Bakin and order breakfast (or lunch!), to go. Both restaurants are offering Valentine’s Day-themed specials, such as heart-shaped biscuits, specialty lattes, desserts, and more.

Once you have your meal in hand, head to Monte Sano State Park for a picnic and an exciting hike with some of the area’s best views.
