The Orion Amphitheater to Host 2026 International Festival of North Alabama
The International Society of Huntsville will present the 2026 International Festival of North Alabama (iFEST) on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 12–5 p.m. at The Orion Amphitheater, located at 701 Amphitheater Drive NW in Huntsville.
iFEST is a thrilling trip around the world in one place–at no cost. This free, family-friendly festival brings together diverse cultures and traditions from across North Alabama through international displays, live performances, food, activities, vendors, and more.
The 2026 World Cup gave our country a glimpse of something remarkable: the warmth and joy that emerges when people come together and embrace one another’s unique cultures–from soul food and Southern hospitality to the palates and traditions of nations across Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America. That same sense of connection and celebration is what iFEST brings home to Huntsville, Alabama. The festival honors the many cultural heritages, traditions, and stories that have shaped the character and diversity of North Alabama and the nation.
This isn’t just a moment to attend–it’s a moment to capture.
“iFEST gives people an opportunity to experience the world through the cultures represented right here in North Alabama,” said Giorgio Caioli, President of the International Society of Huntsville. “It is a celebration of heritage, creativity, and community connection, and we are excited to welcome the public to our new location at The Orion Amphitheater.”
The 2026 festival will take place throughout designated areas of The Orion Amphitheater campus. Stage performances are expected to begin between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m., while cultural displays, vendors, food service, and other festival activities will be available starting at noon.
Additional program details will be announced in the weeks and months leading up to the event, so stay tuned for updates.
