Job Seekers Invited to ReLaunch Job Fair Sept. 29 in Huntsville

The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber, Alabama Career Center, Alabama Community College System, local nonprofits and community agencies will host a ReLaunch Job Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 29, in Huntsville.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Huntsville, 600 Governors Drive SW. Job seekers should use Entrance No. 7 on St. Clair Avenue, across from the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library. Signs will direct attendees to the entrance.

The job fair is intended for people who are changing careers, unemployed or underemployed, have not completed high school or are seeking a second career opportunity.

The event is free and open to job seekers. Registration is available online through the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber or at the door. Resume assistance and access to a copy and print station will also be available at no cost.

About 20 companies and organizations have registered for the event, representing industries including advanced manufacturing, construction, education, healthcare, hospitality and public utilities. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with company recruiters, and some employers may conduct interviews during the event.
