Limited Edition Huntsville Valentine’s Day Cards are Back!

January 22, 2021/in News, Tourism, Travel/Leisure/by staff reports

It is said “absence makes the heart grow fonder.”

image004 1Now, after a two-year absence, limited edition Huntsville Valentine’s Day cards are back.

In 2019, the Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau  released a set of five, limited edition Huntsville Valentine’s Day cards. The response from visitors and locals alike was so great, the bureau is offering them for Valentine’s Day 2021.

The cards are available at the Downtown Huntsville Visitor Center and – new for this year – online at www.rocketcityshop.org. They are sold individually for $2 (individual cards available in person at the Downtown Huntsville Visitor Center only) or in sets of all five designs for $8.

Huntsville Valentines 1The designs were created by local graphic artist Crisy Meschieri. The cards feature Huntsville points of interest including Ditto Landing, Big Spring International Park, the Weeden House Museum & Garden, an illustrated play on the “Cosmic Christ” mural at Huntsville’s First Baptist Church, and of course, a rocket.

The Visitor Center is at 500 Church Street in downtown Huntsville and is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Saturday , and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.

For more information, contact Director of Marketing Kristen Pepper at 256-551-2294 or kristen@huntsville.org.
