OneWater Marine Inc. Enters Final Stages in Acquisition of Huntsville’s T-H Marine Inc.

October 22, 2021/in Acquisition, Community Development, Featured, Manufacturing, News/by Gus Wintzell

OneWater Marine Inc. announced yesterday that the company has entered into the final stages of negotiation over the acquisition of Huntsville based T-H Marine for $185 million.

For OneWater, the acquisition represents more than just increasing profits.

“We believe T-H Marine represents a strong, natural fit with our service, parts & other sales business and meaningfully increases our addressable market for marine parts and accessories,” said Austin Singleton, Chief Executive Officer for OneWater.

“With a track record of increasing financial performance, we believe the addition of T-H Marine will further enhance our long-term growth strategy as we continue to scale the business and drive value to our shareholders.”

Since its founding in 1975, T-H Marine has specialized in offering a diverse range of aftermarket marine products, parts, and accessories. And by adapting to an ever changing e-commerce heavy environment, the Huntsville-based company easily became one of the leading providers of various branded marine products and parts.

By acquiring T-H Marine, OneWater Marine Inc. hopes to tap into this product diversification to grow sales and more than double the size of its services, parts, and other avenues of business.

And for T-H Marine, this process works both ways.

“Our history of accretive acquisitions is not only complementary to OneWater’s business model and growth strategy, but also provides an additional platform for expansion. We look forward to working with the OneWater team to scale the business through organic investments and acquisitional growth,” said Jeff Huntley Sr., Chief Executive Officer for T-H Marine.

“Joining OneWater will allow us to further enhance our strategy of acquiring and growing businesses to serve all of our aftermarket and OEM customers with even more amazing products.”

The end product is adaptability through diversification. With the acquisition of a strong and adaptable company, OneWater Marine hopes to offer more adaptable products and services to an ever-changing marine-based economy.

Both T-H Marine and OneWater Marine hope to finalize the acquisition by the end of the year.
