Lincoln Mill Welcomes Fusion Barbecue to its Lineup

December 17, 2021/in News, Community Development, Food/by Lori Connors

What’s coming soon to the Lincoln Mill campus and will be serving up a full menu of barbecue dishes that are prepared with internationally inspired flavors?

Fusion Barbecue, a locally owned and operated barbecue concept, that’s what.

Debuting sometime in late spring, Fusion Barbecue will be joining an already enticing array of retail businesses and fitness studios at Lincoln Mill, such as Turbo Coffee Roasters, Heritage Kitchen + Bath, Three15 Studio, and Iron Tribe Fitness.

FusionRibsAndSidesMaking its home in a 2,646 square-foot space at the Dye House, Fusion Barbecue’s fare is destined to be memorable; guaranteed to fire up every single tastebud. Fusion Barbecue promises an exciting take on time-honored barbecue dishes, all prepared using a combination of traditional smoking methods with a touch of international flair.

After years of working on preparation, ingredient selection, and recipes, the Fusion team is excited to finally bring their vision to life.

Fusion Barbecue will feature a variety of Asian-inspired delights, such as Bourbon-Glazed Ribs, Wagyu Brisket Bao Buns, and smoked duck wings. American Wagyu beef brisket will be a staple on their menu, and each season, Fusion will feature exciting new dishes.

To accompany the entrees, there will also be an assortment of side items, like Hot Honey Brussels Sprouts and French Fries deep-fried in Wagyu beef fat.

For dessert, there’s Miso Cheesecake with an Oreo crust, topped with a delightful blackberry-caramel reduction, all made in-house. This is just a sample of what’s to come!

Fusion aims to be a destination where guests can dine, mingle, and come together over a shared love of delicious food.

What distinguishes Fusion is the time and love spent slow smoking meats to perfection, pairing those meats with a variety of tasty sauces and side dishes. The crew at Fusion takes great pride in presenting inventive recipes, all using the highest quality ingredients available.

When it comes to atmosphere, Fusion Barbecue will offer a modern rustic feel. There will be a full-service bar with signature cocktails. There will even be a garage door, allowing for guests to enjoy their drinks on a beautiful outdoor patio.

Fusion is anticipated to be a big hit in the Rocket City, where Southern-style barbecue has long been a favorite go-to. Bringing to area barbecue connoisseurs, a totally new kind of taste experience – blending the traditional with new, modern flavors – the Fusion team can’t wait for Huntsville to give it a try, they are certain that the locals will be hooked.

The vibe, co-tenancy, history, and ease of accessibility to the downtown area made Lincoln Mill a very attractive location for Fusion Barbecue. Since they are a new concept, Fusion wanted to plant its roots in a growing area that showed trends of continued growth. Meridian Street fit the bill, and Fusion will soon be an on-campus dining experience for Lincoln Mill tenants, as well as a fun hangout for the public.
