HSV Launches Breeze Airways Nonstop Flight to Las Vegas

Thursday was a very busy day for Huntsville International Airport (HSV), beginning with a successful four hour FAA disaster response drill and ending with a glitzy Vegas-themed party at The Shed at Stovehouse kicking off its newest offering, a direct flight to Las Vegas (LAS) aboard Breeze Airways beginning September 9.

IMG 0821A smiling Vegas showgirl in a glittering royal blue gown and feathered headdress emblazoned with the Breeze logo greeted guests at the colorful balloon arch at the entrance, handing out commemorative poker chips to be used at the gaming tables in the back.

The live band, Trick Zipper, performed a lively set of music to a packed house as guests enjoyed delicious Mexican food from El Cazador and complimentary beer or wine from Pourhouse for those over 21.

Plenty of swag was on hand for the many attendees, including t-shirts, hand sanitizer, masks, lip balm, and sunglasses (a must for those sunny Vegas summers). In addition, guests had the opportunity to register for a drawing for free Breeze airfare vouchers.

Breeze Airways, the Seriously Nice™ low-fare, high flex airline was founded by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman in May 2021. Just named #2 Best Domestic Airline in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards, Breeze Airways now offers 85 nonstop routes between 31 cities and 19 states aboard its fleet of Embraer 190/195 and Airbus A220-300 aircraft.

Breeze is currently offering a special sale fare of $99 one way for travel from HSV to LAS from October 26 through February 14, 2023 if purchased by September 13.
