Celebrating 25 years of success with Madison City Schools
This year marks the 25 year celebration of Madison City Schools, and the City of Madison is kicking off the semester in style.
Madison City Schools (MCS) and the Madison Chamber of Commerce are hosting an inaugural Back to School Breakfast this Wednesday, August 9th from 7:30am-9:00am at Cross Pointe Church in Madison.
The breakfast will be followed by a program from 8:00am-9:00am and will feature a keynote speech by Dr. Ed Nichols, with a recognition of the school district’s formation, accomplishments, and goals for the future.
“This event is important to celebrate all that has been accomplished since the grassroots formation of Madison City Schools. It is important to reflect on the past 25 years and share our plans for the future,” said the Madison Chamber of Commerce in a recent press statement.
Being a fairly new community, with many new residents, it is important for the City of Madison to know more about the district as a whole, how Madison City Schools were formed by local residents, and how community involvement and support help the district and the community’s impact on MCS.
The MCS Back to School Breakfast, presented by Nola VanPeursem Architects, will be a great place to learn about MCS and all the outstanding accomplishments, see highlights of the district, and understand where the school districts are going.
