The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is collaborating with local and regional colleges and universities to connect college students with career opportunities in the Rocket City!

College students who are home on holiday break are encouraged to attend the Huntsville: ASmartPlace College Career Fair on Tuesday, Dec. 12 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Chamber, located at 225 Church Street  NW, Huntsville, AL 35801.

The Chamber encourages prospective applicants and students to bring a resume, dress for success, and meet with local employers who are offering full-time roles, co-op positions, and internships. Students have the opportunity to learn about opportunities in a number of  fields, including healthcare, business, finance, education, engineering, tourism, construction, media, sports and entertainment, and more.

Select companies and organizations will be in attendance for the event, including the Alabama Department of Revenue, CFD Research Corporation, Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theatre, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Huntsville City Football Club, Huntsville Hospital, Invariant Corporation, Montessori School of Huntsville, Redstone Federal Credit Union, and Wilson Lumber Company, among many others.

This event is being held in partnership with local universities and local alumni groups representing  colleges around the region. Attendees must be currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from college to attend.

The Career Fair is free for students to attend. Registration is required, and can be found at the link here. Parents are welcome to attend on their student’s behalf to learn about career opportunities.
