Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille Expands Alabama Presence with New Huntsville Location at MidCity District

Perry’s Restaurants, a Texas-based restaurant group, has announced plans to open a second Alabama location in Huntsville. Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille will be located in Huntsville’s MidCity District and is expected to open in summer 2027 at 1101 Mid City Dr. NW, Huntsville, AL 35806, just off University Drive near Research Park and Redstone Arsenal.

“Birmingham has been an incredible home for Perry’s, and the warmth and loyalty our Alabama guests have shown us means the world to our entire team,” said Chris Perry, founder and owner of Perry’s Restaurants. “As we celebrate 10 years of being in Alabama, we cannot wait to bring our Rare and Well Done® tradition to a new community of guests and make Huntsville our next home.”

Perry’s Huntsville, designed in partnership with Aria Group Architects, Inc., will feature a main dining room with views of the kitchen, wine wall and Perry’s Bar 79®. The restaurant’s design will incorporate a range of colors, glass, lighting and textures intended to create a setting for a variety of dining occasions, including dinner, business meetings, private events and Perry’s Famous Pork Chop Friday Lunch.

The restaurant will accommodate up to 350 guests and include four private dining rooms for corporate functions, family gatherings and other events. Perry’s Bar 79® will offer a bar area featuring Perry’s Reserve Wines and handcrafted cocktails, along with glass walls that open to a patio dining area with seating for approximately 45 guests.

Perry’s menu will feature a selection of steaks, including Japanese A-5 Wagyu Beef, USDA-aged Prime and Certified Upper Choice cuts, along with signature steak preparations and tableside presentations. The menu will also include Perry’s seven-finger-high pork chop, seafood entrees developed by Master Development Chef Rick Moonen, and other selections available at Perry’s locations.

Dinner service will be available Monday through Thursday from 4–10 p.m., Friday from 10:30 a.m.–10 p.m., Saturday from 4–10 p.m. and Sunday from 4–9 p.m. The restaurant will also offer to-go pickup during regular business hours.
