Defense contract roundup: Intuitive, Suntest, Torch on $920 million contract

Intuitive, Suntest Systems and Torch Technologies are part of a $920 million Air Force contract, the Department of Defense announced.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award contract is for support equipment and vehicles. The contract provides next-generation aerospace and ground equipment to modernize and expand existing capabilities.

The work is expected to be completed by 2036.  

Other Huntsville contract awards:

  • IronMountain Solutions was awarded a $19,036,240 time-and-materials contract modification for technical support for the utility helicopters project office.
    Work will be performed in Huntsville with an estimated completion date of March 7, 2027. The Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal is the contracting activity. 
  • Airbus Helicopters was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of up to 12 Lakota UH-72B helicopters, jettisonable cockpit doors, air conditioning system installation, engine inlet barrier filters, and program management.
    The amount of this action is $115,406,740, with a total cumulative face value of $140,716,352.
    The work will be performed on Redstone Arsenal with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2030. The Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal is the contracting activity 
  • Applied Technologies was awarded a $12,948,210 contract modification for logistics support for the Utility Helicopters Project Office. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $65,283,922.
    The work will be performed in Huntsville with an estimated completion date of Oct. 12, 2027. The Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal.
