Huntsville Championship Secures SkyDeck Sponsor

The second annual Huntsville Championship at The Ledges has secured a sponsorship for the SkyDeck hospitality venue at the 18th green.

The upgrade ticket for the golf event, part of the PGA’s Korn Ferry Tour, will now be the Engel & Volkers SkyDeck. The sponsors are in real estate with local and area offices as well as international bases.

“As a global luxury real estate brand, this partnership is a natural fit, and we look forward to welcoming professional golfers to the Huntsville Championship,’’ said Tonya Thomas of Engel & Völkers Huntsville. “We hope that many fans will join us in the Engel & Völkers SkyDeck next to the beautiful clubhouse at The Ledges. It’s such a privilege to call Huntsville home and to be part of this growing, vibrant city.’’

Tickets for SkyDeck and the Michelob Ultra Patio at the 10th green, a Good Any Day admission starting or a weekly pass can be purchased at huntsvillechampionship.com.

General admission is $11.75 daily and $33.75 weekly. Admission to the Michelob Ultra Patio is $33.75 daily and $110.75 weekly, and SkyDeck tickets are $210.75 daily.

Sponsorships provide a crucial role in donating to the tournament’s philanthropic partner, the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville. In 2021, the tournament donated $25,500 to the Community Foundation in order to support various charitable organizations and programs throughout the Huntsville community.

SkyDeck offers an exclusive experience on the course with complimentary food and beverage service. Located on the 18th fairway and in close proximity to the main entrance, the SkyDeck provides a prime viewing opportunity on the tournament’s closing hole.

The Korn Ferry Tour is considered a platform for golfers to move up to the PGA Tour. Notable PGA Tour players who started on the Korn Ferry Tour include major champions Justin Thomas, Jason Day, Bubba Watson and Zach Johnson.

Birmingham-based sports marketing and event management firm Knight Eady owns and operates the tournament in partnership with the Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce and the Huntsville Sports Commission.
