Redstone Gateway announces newest addition to Huntsville’s growing business scene

April 5, 2022/in Lead, Community Development, Defense, Featured, News/by staff reports

Corporate Office Properties Trust announced yesterday that Guidehouse would be added to the list of tenants at Huntsville’s Redstone Gateway development.

Guidehouse, a leading global provider of consulting services to the public sector and commercial clients, signed a 10,000 SF lease at the 8000 Rideout Road development. This office will primarily support clients from the Department of Defense, as well as other national security and federal law enforcement entities.

downloadWith over 12,000 employees and 50 locations globally, Guidehouse became the newest of impactful tenants at the Redstone Gateway. COPT, who manages the Redstone Gateway development tenants, announced that Guidehouse brought the development to right around 89% capacity.

James Lomax, Vice President of Asset Management and Leasing at COPT, was excited that Guidehouse fit the larger story that is being built at the Redstone Gateway.

“We’re extremely excited to welcome Guidehouse to Redstone Gateway. They are accustomed to solving problems so, when they were looking for office space to show their commitment to Huntsville, I was proud Redstone Gateway was the solution.”

When asked about the company’s reason for choosing Huntsville, Guidehouse Defense Segment leader Ed Meehan responded that the city provided the perfect business infrastructure to integrate their services.

“Huntsville plays a critical role in our nation’s national security and defense, aerospace, information technology, and advanced manufacturing industries, and we are proud to expand our shared commitment and support to this vibrant local community with leading edge capabilities. Our best-in-class teams seamlessly integrate expertise in the public sector and regulated commercial markets to solve the most complex issues of our day, helping our clients truly outwit complexity.”

Guidehouse partner and National Security Segment Leader John Saad agreed, adding that the company hopes to add to the success that Huntsville’s economic scene has experienced over the past few years.

“We are thrilled to open our new office in Huntsville, a leading hub for technology innovation and one of the fastest growing and most economically successful regions in the country. This is a defining moment for Guidehouse and the Huntsville community, reaffirming our long-term commitment as a top strategic consultancy and revamping our presence in this important market.”
