FirstBank Expands Its Footprint With a New Branch in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, AL – FirstBank announced the opening of a new branch in Huntsville, Alabama. The Providence branch in the MidCity area marks the bank’s fourth location in the state.

The new branch will be a full-service bank with an ATM and instant issue debit card machine. Mortgage and investment services will also be available at this location. Rachelle Cash, Financial Center Manager at the Providence location, brings 17 years of experience within the banking industry to lead the local team. Joining her are Kara Layman, Faith Winkles and Allison Stark, and the team of four have a shared interest in helping people, building relationships and growing the company in this new community.

“FirstBank is committed to expand our presence throughout Alabama to provide its communities with greater accessibility to the financial services they need,” said Mike McCrary, North Alabama Regional President. “We look forward to opening this new location in Huntsville and growing our team so more families and businesses in the region have an opportunity to benefit from our unique style of a community-focused banking.”

According to the U.S. News & World Report’s list of Best Places to Live in the U.S. in 2022-2023, out of the 150 areas analyzed for being a desirable place to live, Huntsville, Alabama ranked #1.
