106 Jefferson Hotel Featured on Popular National Game Show
Named America’s Best Place to Live by U.S. News and World Report just last year, Huntsville has seen exponential growth and continues to solidify its position as a top destination as more and more fall in love with the city’s history, culture and community.
On Monday, February 13 at 2 p.m. CT, 106 Jefferson Hotel continued to add to that image.
The Jefferson was featured in an episode of the popular game show, “Let’s Make a Deal!” The episode included a prize package with a one-of-a-kind trip to Huntsville, hosted by 106 Jefferson Hotel and featuring valued local partners who showcase the best that Huntsville has to offer. The prize pack also included a visit to Space Camp at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.
Charles Winters, Executive Vice President for the Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), shared his excitement for this recognition and achievement.
“Any way that we can, we love to get the word out about the attractions, the activities, the quality of life that we all enjoy in Huntsville,” Winters said.
Jeremy Sadler, General Manager for 106 Jefferson, said the winner will be treated like royalty.
“They’ve got the suite, we’ve partnered with the space museum, so they’re going to have experiences throughout the city, but here on the property they’ll get all the bells and whistles and be very well taken care of.”
106 Jefferson and the CVB hosted a watch party for the episode at the hotel’s rooftop bar, Baker & Able, on Monday afternoon.
The crowd erupted in applause and excitement when the trip was revealed at the end of the episode as part of the “Big Deal of the Day” segment.
From the hotel’s design rooted in Rocket City’s space race history, to its culture of community, 106 Jefferson aims to serve as a dedicated partner, seeking opportunities to increase Huntsville’s exposure and create a launch pad to the city’s bright future.
