HUNTSVILLE, AL — Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) announced an approximately 30,000 square foot lease at 1100 Redstone Gateway with government contractor Axient.

The company is the product of a 2021 merger between Huntsville-based QuantiTech and Dynamic Concepts, Millennium Engineering and Integration (VA), and Systems Engineering Group (MD). They are now a large business serving the defense, civil, and commercial markets in Huntsville, across the U.S., and internationally.

“Huntsville’s growth has created new opportunities for companies like Axient to grow and expand their footprint. We are extremely excited for a company with such a great heritage to be a part of Redstone Gateway, and we look forward to their continued success,” said James Lomax, COPT’s Vice President of Asset Management & Leasing.

“Axient provides advanced engineering services and solutions to accelerate our customer missions, while empowering and strengthening our people. Locating to Redstone Gateway helps Axient continue to realize this vision and allows us to continue to grow and serve our customers by being closer to them and their missions. We are also looking forward to giving our current and future employees access to a modern work facility with so many amenities nearby and being a part of the Redstone Gateway community,” said Axient CEO, Randy Cash.

1100 Redstone Gateway sits at the front of Redstone Gateway with premier visibility from I-565 and Rideout Road. The total building square footage is 121,000.
