Robins & Morton celebrates completion of Redstone Gateway 8100

August 8, 2023/in Development, Engineering, Featured, Lead, Military, News/by staff reports

Construction firm Robins & Morton and Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) have completed the Redstone Gateway 8100 building in Huntsville, Alabama.

The five-story, 125,000-square-foot office building is located on Rideout Road, just outside Gate 9 at Redstone Arsenal, and is adjacent to the five-story RG8200/RG8300 Northrop Grumman R&D campus buildings completed by Robins & Morton earlier this year.

“The addition of Building 8100 to the Redstone Gateway development brings another 125,000 square feet of Class A leasable square footage immediately adjacent to Redstone Arsenal and the Huntsville community,” Project Director Stephen Flournoy said. “We are grateful for our partnership with COPT and the opportunity to build this multi-story tilt-wall office project.”

This project represents the fourth multi-story tilt-wall building constructed by Robins & Morton in the office park since 2020.

The project is also pursuing LEED certification as a joint RG8000/RG8100 campus submission. Robins & Morton is the general contractor, and Powers Brown Architecture is the architect.
