December 22, 2023/in Career, Community Development, Construction, Featured, Lead, News, People, Recognition/by staff reports

HUNTSVILLE, AL – Turner Construction Company’s Huntsville office has promoted Joe Botto, a construction industry veteran of 30 years, to the role of Self-Perform Operations (SPO) Manager. In this role, Botto will oversee all the trade work performed by Turner teams throughout the business unit’s northeast Alabama footprint.

“Joe has been a tremendous leader on our jobsites and a vital part of our success,” said Brendan McCormick, Vice President and General Manager of Turner’s Huntsville office. “His familiarity with our operations and many of our clients along with his experience with our trade teams make him a perfect fit to continue the growth of our self-perform operations.”

Botto joined Turner in 2012 as a superintendent and has also worked as a project manager for the SPO division. His experience includes projects in healthcare, aviation, and manufacturing. He is experienced in the management of concrete installation, a major component of Turner’s SPO work in the Huntsville area.

Botto is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and a member of the American Concrete Institute. He lives in Decatur, Ala., with his wife, Apryl, and his three children.
