Huntsville gov-con business announces $8.7M expansion

February 27, 2024/in Community Development, Construction, Defense, Employment, Featured, Lead, Military, News, Workforce Development/by Heather Alfonso

Parry Labs, a government contractor and industry leader in Modular Open Systems Approach, is conducting an $8.7 million expansion of its Huntsville location.

The new 36,000-square-foot space will bring the company closer to customers, partners, and amenities at Redstone Arsenal, The Gateway, and Bridge Street Town Centre. The state-of-the-art building will include a demonstration lab, multiple conference rooms, and designated production spaces.

Parry Labs has had a presence in Huntsville since 2019. Since then the company has experienced rapid growth, prompting the expansion. They expect to be moved into the new location at 6767 Old Madison Pike, Building 5, by May 2024.

In addition to the technology and capital investment being brought to the area with the expansion, Parry Labs will be expanding its workforce with 30 new jobs. The majority of the jobs will be in the area of design and development of open systems technologies.

“The new Parry Labs facility will not only accommodate our workforce expansion but will also allow for a collaborative space to prototype and demonstrate emerging technologies and techniques with DoD and other vendors,” said Tom von Eschenbach, VP, Crewed Aviation Systems & General Manager at the Huntsville site.

Parry Labs created a foundational technology platform using an open and intelligent software stack, novel hardware solutions, and a digital engineering environment. Their products bring modernized capability and a combat advantage across all services of the Department of Defense.

“We are excited to move the Parry Labs Huntsville office to a larger facility that will allow us to better support our customer base and to build on to our current successes, Said Parry Labs Chief Operating Officer Aydin Mohtashamian.
