Michelle Epling – Madison Chamber of Commerce – President

Michelle Epling is the current President and CEO of the City of Madison Chamber of Commerce. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Auburn University. Michelle is deeply active in her North Alabama community and volunteers at a variety of organizations. She is a part of the Women’s Economic Development Council, a co-chair on the Singing River Trail Launch Tank 2035, a council member for the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, and a member of the Gothic Guild, to name a few.

Where is your favorite place to kick back and relax in Huntsville? 

Phil Sandovals in Madison or J. Alexanders, Saza and Prohibition in Town Madison

What is a fun fact about you?

Our family runs the largest pecan orchard in North Alabama called Newberry Pecans!

What is the best part about working in Huntsville?

Our community in Madison and the Huntsville region is what makes working in Madison so wonderful.  From our business owners, to our residents to our restaurants and city employees they all work together to make us all feel part of the North Alabama family!

What is your best piece of advice for starting a career in Rocket City/North Alabama?

Network, Network, Network!  This town is so wonderful in helping each other, building each other up and working together to be each other’s biggest cheerleaders but you can’t be part of this amazing network if you don’t show up to all the wonderful community networking events available everyday across Madison and Huntsville!
