Huntsville’s gBETA startup accelerator welcomes five new local companies
HUNTSVILLE, AL – Five Huntsville-based companies have been selected to participate in Huntsville’s gBETA startup accelerator program.
A’SHI SKIN, CheckMySpot, Happi Pappi, Intrinsic Methods and iXpressGenes were selected to participate in the gBETA Huntsville program, powered by national venture capital firm gener8tor, which supports startups, workers, employers, artists and musicians across race, place and gender.
The gBETA Huntsville program is a seven-week accelerator designed to help startups secure investment opportunities. Participants receive intensive coaching and access to gener8tor’s extensive network of mentors, customers, corporate partners, and investors.
Selected through a competitive recruitment process, these five companies were chosen for their growth potential and investor readiness.
The program is supported by a partnership between Innovate Alabama, Apollo Foundation, and RCP Companies, with additional backing from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, Alfa, Robins & Morton, and Fuqua Architects.
“RCP’s vision is to create communities where creativity and connection are at the center. Entrepreneurship is a core part of that vision, so we are thrilled to continue to support homegrown innovation through opportunities like gBETA Huntsville,” said Remy Gross, co-founder of RCP.
Later this fall, the startup founders will present their companies to investors, community partners, and the public at a startup showcase event. More information about the event will be available on MidCity District’s Facebook page and the Apollo Foundation Facebook page.
