Throughout his legal education, he was uniquely exposed to many of the diverse aspects of the justice system while working positions with entities such as the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, the Tennessee Attorney General Office, and numerous litigation firms. In 2024, Foster was called to return home to North Alabama where he is now a personal injury attorney at the law firm of Morris, King & Hodge, P.C.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

When I am not at work, I love spending time outdoors with my kids and going to the movies. Huntsville has lots of outdoor play opportunities for children, and great hiking trails. The city also has multiple great theaters that offer unique movie watching experiences. If you are interested in trying something new, definitely check out Huntsville Independent Cinema.

What motivates you on hard days?

My children are my biggest motivation. While I love my professional career, fatherhood is the most important role in my life. Even on my hardest day, I know that everything I do impacts them in some way, and it is my life’s goal to create the best opportunity for them to follow their goals and dreams.

What do you love most about living and working in Huntsville?

I love that we still have a small town feel, despite being the largest city in the state. There is a sense of community here that connects people across the city’s many professions and neighborhoods. Whether it is a Havoc game at the VBC, events at Big Spring Park, or a trivia night at Innerspace Brewing Company, there is always something going on to connect with the community.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?

I would tell myself: “There is no finish line.” There will always be new challenges, but learning from each experience makes those challenges easier to overcome. Always be willing to set new goals for yourself, and consistently strive to raise the bar a little higher with each new goal. Blessings come easiest for those willing to work hard for them.

What’s your “why don’t we have this yet?” business idea for Huntsville?

I think Huntsville needs a food hall style community center near downtown. Similar to Assembly Food Hall in Nashville and Ponce City Market in Atlanta, I think a small indoor food hall with diverse counter service offerings, and maybe even a few small boutique stores, would greatly benefit the community and offer a fun venue for community events.
