What do you love most about living and working in Huntsville?

I love the sense of opportunity that comes with living and working in Huntsville. It is a place where innovation and creativity thrive, and where diverse voices and incredible local businesses truly make the community special. There is always something new happening here, and it is exciting to be part of a city that is growing while still feeling connected and supportive.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?

I would tell my 22-year-old self not to stress over the things you cannot control. Life will absolutely throw curveballs, but those unexpected moments often shape you in the best ways. Instead of fearing change, embrace it, because growth almost always comes from the uncomfortable seasons.

What motivates you on hard days?

On hard days, my husband and my beautiful daughters are my greatest motivation. They ground me, remind me what truly matters, and give me the strength to keep pushing forward. Knowing I am building something meaningful for my family keeps everything in perspective.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and making memories with my husband and our girls. My husband and I also enjoy playing video games together, which is a hobby that gives us time to connect and unwind. It is a simple but meaningful way we balance busy careers and family life.

How do you like to give back to the community, and why is it important to you?

I give back to the community through my work by intentionally showcasing the incredible businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs that make Huntsville unique. Telling their stories and elevating their visibility helps strengthen our local economy and celebrate the people behind it. Supporting and promoting the best of Huntsville is not just my job, it is something I am truly passionate about.

What’s your “why don’t we have this yet?” business idea for Huntsville?

I would love to see even more locally owned, chef-led restaurants in Huntsville. As Huntsville continues to grow, there is so much opportunity for chefs to create unique dining experiences that reflect their personal stories and culinary creativity. Supporting more chef-driven concepts would continue to elevate Huntsville’s food scene and strengthen our identity as a destination for great local flavor.

Who has been the biggest influence on your career, and what valuable lesson did they teach you?

My very first boss in the restaurant and hospitality industry, Mike, has been one of the biggest influences on my career. He saw my work ethic and character early on and pushed me to lead with both confidence and resilience. He taught me to find joy in the small moments, even in the chaos, and that when you truly love what you do, you can accomplish anything.
