The annual Space & Missile Defense Symposium begins today at the Von Braun Center with dozens of exhibitors, a list of distinguished speakers and a focus on the future.

About a dozen top military officials are scheduled to speak in person or virtually. This year’s symposium theme is “Space and Integrated Air and Missile Defense in a New Era.”

During the event’s first Small Business Showcase, dozens of companies large and small will exhibit from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. through Thursday. The event is spearheaded by the Huntsville Association of Small Businesses in Advanced Technology. It will take place in the VBC East Hall.
