Community welcomes first Walk-On’s Bistreaux in North Alabama

February 6, 2024/in Community Development, Entertainment, Featured, Food, Food/dining, Lead, Retail, Sports/by Gus Wintzell

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, a national restaurant and sports bar, celebrated the opening of the franchise’s first North Alabama location yesterday at 10:30 with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8368 Hwy 72 West, Madison, AL.

The grand opening featured a special presentation of $5,000 to local charity Manna House. The first 100 guests also received a chance to win free Walk–On’s for a year.

Walk-On’s Huntsville Franchisee Jason Gisclair was on hand to talk about his excitement for bringing a new restaurant and sports bar to the Huntsville/Madison County area.

“We’re proud to be part of the Walk-On’s family and excited to introduce the Huntsville community to our signature, Louisiana-inspired menu,” said Gisclair. “We’ve worked hard to create an atmosphere that’s perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a family dinner, a celebration, or just a casual night out. We’re confident that the Walk-On’s in Huntsville will be the go-to spot for residents and visitors alike.”

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is known for its menu, from gumbo and burgers to its cocktails. The restaurant is designed to cater to sports fans and food enthusiasts alike, with multiple screens to catch the big game and a family-friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy.

“It brings me immense pride and excitement to introduce our eighth restaurant in Alabama, in the beautiful city of Huntsville,” said Chris Dawson, CEO of Walk-On’s. “At Walk-On’s, we’re not just in the restaurant business; we’re in the community business. We are looking forward to serving the wonderful people of Huntsville and becoming an integral part of this stellar community.”

Walk-On’s is open Sunday-Thursday, 11am-11pm and Friday-Saturday, 11am-Midnight. For more information, please visit walk-ons.com.
