2021 Best Places to Work Award Winners Announced

The Best Places to Work® Awards are back in person after taking the ceremony virtual for the 2020 awards back in April. 

These awards represent a major achievement for the growth of the Huntsville-Madison County area, and a point of pride for many companies and their employees for maintaining an excellent standard of workplace development, even during the doldrums of the Pandemic.

Partnered with Synovus, the Huntsville-Madison County Chamber hosted the event in the Von Braun Center North Hall.

The Best Places To Work Awards are calculated via surveys sent out to the employees of the companies that are nominated. The results of each survey are organized and tabulated by Quantum Workplace. 

The full list of winners include the following:

Micro Category (10-24 employees): 

  • Gold: Boecore, Inc. 
  • Silver: Patriots International 
  • Bronze: Radial Solutions, Inc. 

Small Category (25-50 employees)

  • Gold: KODA Technologies, Inc. 
  • Silver: Phased n Research, Inc. 
  • Bronze: Crossflow Technologies, Inc. 

Medium Category (51-100 employees)

  • Gold: QTEC Aerospace
  • Silver: Canvas, Inc. 
  • Bronze: Monte Sano Research Corporation 

Large Category (101-250 employees)

  • Gold: Simulation Technologies, Inc. 
  • Silver: Thompson Gray Incorporated 
  • Bronze: Intrepid 

X-Large Category: 

  • Gold: IronMountain Solutions 
  • Silver: PeopleTec, Inc. 
  • Bronze: Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. 

In addition to these awards, the Huntsville-Madison County Chamber announced the first ever inauguration to the Best Places to Work Hall of Fame, awarding Intuitive Research & Technology Corporation (INTUITIVE) as its first ever inductee. 

“We are incredibly honored to be the first inductee into  the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber’s Best Places to Work Hall of Fame. Over the last thirteen  years, Best Places to Work has played a significant role in shaping our culture. Our employees are the pulse of INTUITIVE and they keep the company strong, and moving forward in a positive direction,” said Vergenia Shelton, INTUITIVE’s President.

The Best Places to Work Hall of Fame Award is given to companies who have won the Best Places to Work award in the bronze, silver, or gold categories for 10 years or more. 

The Huntsville Business Journal would like to congratulate each winning company, as well as every company nominated for the above awards.
