Scott Hall will assume the roles of President for the Engineered Systems Segment and Teledyne Brown Engineering Inc. on March 21. Ms. Hess will work with Hall prior to her departure in a consultative role in order to ensure a smooth transition.

“I want to thank Jan for her 20 years of dedicated service and contributions to the company,” said Robert Mehrabian, Chairman, President and CEO of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. “Under Jan’s leadership, the Engineered Systems Segment’s systems engineering, integration, and advanced technology development capabilities were significantly strengthened, and the business grew through successful execution of complex programs for our defense, space, and energy customers.”

During her career at Teledyne, Hess has held leadership positions in several critical operational and financial roles, ultimately leading to her becoming President of Teledyne’s Engineered Systems Segment and Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. in 2014.

Hall has worked on numerous, critical U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Energy, and NASA programs for 30 years, first as a small business owner and later with Teledyne. Hall began his career at Teledyne in 2004 as a program manager and has held various roles with increasing responsibility. He has served as Teledyne Brown Engineering’s Senior Vice President for maritime and manufacturing since 2015.

Hall’s maritime and manufacturing teams have successfully provided engineering and advanced manufacturing solutions for harsh environments in the space, defense, energy, and maritime industries.

Mehrabian expressed great confidence in Hall’s abilities, stating “I have closely watched Scott’s successful delivery of our current maritime and manufacturing programs, and I look forward to working with him as he builds upon our capabilities and programs.”
