A Look into H2L Solution’s Success at the Small Business Awards

November 15, 2022/in Awards, Community Development, Defense, Engineering, Events, Featured, Military, News, People, Success/by Ashlyn Grey

Recently at the 2022 Small Business Administration Gala, Huntsville-based company H2L Solutions was awarded the Russell G. Brown Executive Leadership Award. CEO Jonathon Hard was unable to attend, as he is currently overseas, but took the time to discuss with The Huntsville Business Journal on what this award means to him personally, and those at H2L Solutions.

“Every year the Huntsville Madison County Chamber of Commerce hosts the Small Business Awards, and the Russel G. Brown Award is one of the most prestigious. I am honored to win this award and it shows me that others recognize the hard work, tears, and passion I have poured into H2L Solutions over the years. My employees have helped make us successful and knowing that they and their families rely upon their work and salaries for their livelihood drives me forward. To be among the impressive men and women who have received this award in the past is incredibly humbling,” shared Hard.

“This award represents trust. Trust that our employees put in their leadership. Trust that our customers put in us. People trust that we strive to do what’s best for our employees, their families, and our customers.”, he continued, “I have made a commitment to my H2L family to remain a close-knit community. We’re working to create an employee-owned company where everyone can share in the growth and benefits of the company’s success.”

While discussing the company’s mission and goals for its community, Hard gladly explained that the company’s goal aligned with the overall success and protection of everyone around the company.

“First and foremost, H2L’s goal is to protect our nation and its warfighters. Our mission is to be the most trusted provider of professional, technical, and program management cybersecurity services for our customers, and to ensure customer success and satisfaction in all that we do. We strive to make a positive difference in each client/customer that we encounter. We focus on strengthening your freedom to access and work security through safe and secure network systems.

Our passion forms the culture of our company and it’s why our clients trust us when it comes to our trade. Our reputation among our community is important to us, which is why we strive to be honorable and provide top notch service in all that we do.”

“H2L was founded to support our country and our warfighters, but we care about the community we live in as well. H2L Solutions is dedicated to helping many not-for-profits; to help change lives and improve our community. To date, H2L has given to more than 40 different organizations in our community. We support HASBAT, HAMA, Harris Home, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Veterans Court, Monte Sano Elementary PTA, and Huntsville High PTA, just to name a few,” Hard continued.

When asked for any advice that Hard wanted to make clear to any local or small business owners, as the CEO of a rapidly growing and flourishing company, Hard shared:

“Don’t talk, just act. Don’t say, just show. Don’t promise, just prove. This is the mantra I try to live by.”

“Do the right thing, even when no one is looking.”
