Stadium Commons Announces New Phase One Tenants

Crunkleton Commercial Real Estate has announced that five additional brands—Free People, Free People Movement, Ferren Boutique, VSL Nail Spa, and a forthcoming American restaurant from Power Brands Hospitality—will join Hattie B’s Hot Chicken at Stadium Commons as part of phase one of the development project.

Located at 3312 S Memorial Parkway, the highly anticipated commercial development is completing its initial phase of construction. Stadium Commons is situated within Huntsville’s burgeoning, and largely underserviced, southeast side of town and is strategically positioned between two major thoroughfares: Memorial Parkway (Huntsville’s busiest retail and commuter corridor) and John Hunt Park, which hosts millions of annual visitors for tournaments, festivals, and city-wide events.

“We’re thrilled to announce the addition of these thoughtfully curated concepts opening throughout phase one,” said Wesley Crunkleton, Principal at Crunkleton Commercial Real Estate. “We continue to research the best retailers and restaurants that will fill the gaps of what our city is currently missing.”

Stadium Commons is one of the remaining opportunities for established brands to secure space in a high-demand corridor in Huntsville. The development’s location provides access to local consumers as well as destination traffic generated by sports tourism, recreation, and nearby downtown commercial activity, positioning the site for long-term economic impact and growth.

In total, these six businesses will help establish the initial mix of tenants as the phased development continues:

  • Ferren Boutique will offer a unique, elevated shopping experience in Huntsville and feature contemporary, stylish, versatile women’s clothing while offering expert styling advice and high-touch customer service.
  • Free People is an American bohemian apparel and lifestyle retail company that sells women’s clothing, accessories, shoes, intimates, and swimwear. It also has a beauty and wellness category, which includes products such as cosmetics, skin and oral care, books, and more.
  • Free People Movement offers performance-ready activewear, practice-perfect styles, and beyond-the-gym staples.
  • Hattie B’s, a fast casual eatery based out of Nashville, TN, known for its hot chicken.
  • VSL Nail Spa is known throughout the region for offering luxury spa experiences that use the highest quality tools and products in their services including nail care, waxing, foot massages, and eyelash extensions.
  • Power Brands Hospitality will open Juniper’s Kitchen, a new destination for thoughtful American food and well-crafted cocktails. The restaurant will feature a stylish, light-filled bar with exposed brick walls and will serve dishes cooked over a wood-fired grill.
