The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is partnering with local and regional colleges and universities to connect college students with career opportunities in the Rocket City.

College students home on holiday break are invited to attend the Huntsville ASmartPlace College Career Fair on Tuesday, Dec. 16, from 2 to 5 p.m. at The Atrium at Redstone Federal Credit Union, 220 Wynn Drive NW, Huntsville, AL 35893, located in Cummings Research Park.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a resume and meet with more than 30 local employers offering full-time positions, co-op roles, and internships. Opportunities will be represented across a range of fields, including healthcare, business, finance, education, engineering, tourism, construction, aerospace, and defense. More than 30 companies are scheduled to participate.

Students are welcome to attend even if they are not currently seeking a career opportunity, as the event provides a chance to network and explore available options.

The event is presented in partnership with local universities and alumni groups representing colleges throughout the region. Attendees must be currently enrolled in, or have recently graduated from, a college or university. All majors and disciplines are welcome.

The event is free for students, though registration is requested. Walk-ins will be asked to register at the door.

Parents may attend on behalf of students who are not yet home for the holiday break to gather information about available career opportunities. They will be asked to sign in at the door.
