Hunter Garnett, Garnett Patterson Injury Law, LLC. Top 40 Under 40

June 1, 2023/in News, People, Top 40/by Gus Wintzell

Hunter Garnett grew up as the oldest of seven children on his family’s farm in Danville, Alabama in Morgan County where he learned the importance of hard work. Somewhere along the way, he also learned that he loves helping people. That’s why he is a personal injury lawyer today. He loves to help.

Hunter married his best friend, Hannah of Hartselle, Alabama in 2015 while he attended law school. Hannah is a dermatology CRNP in Huntsville. Hunter attended college at Mississippi State and law school at Samford where he graduated with honors.

After law school, Hunter worked for a personal injury law firm in Huntsville, Alabama where he represented victims of bad accidents. In December of 2021, He started his own law firm, Garnett Patterson Injury Law, LLC, where he represents folks who have been injured and are being mistreated by insurance companies. In his free time, Hunter rides horses and spends time outside on his mini farm. Helping people is his passion in life. He wakes up every morning excited to help others.

Huntsville was recently ranked the 4th most prosperous city and one of the best places for career building opportunities. Why do you think Huntsville is so unique for younger career seeking individuals and entrepreneurs?

Huntsville is a special place because it offers the benefits of both rural and urban living. Monte Sano Park provides some of the most beautiful trails in the eastern United States. Drive 20 minutes in any direction and you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. On the other hand, we have many of the same amenities that you would expect to see in a major city. This balance makes Huntsville an ideal landing place for young professionals. Huntsville is special to me because I’m able to own horses while still having the benefits of being near a city.

How has Huntsville shaped your career path?

Working in a fast growing city like Huntsville has opened my eyes to the countless opportunities that are available to grow a business. Because Huntsville is growing quickly, there is a lot of innovation.

What’s your favorite restaurant in town?

Flight Plan, Tortora’s, Indian Kitchen, Viet Cuisine, The Standard Market, and Melt are my go-to places.
