106 Jefferson Hotel collection of awards keeps growing with MUSE Hotel Award

106 Jefferson Hotel accolades continue growing with MUSE Hotel Award

Since its grand opening in 2021, 106 Jefferson Hotel has rapidly ascended the ranks of hospitality excellence.

The lifestyle boutique hotel located downtown has been winning awards nonstop since the doors opened such as Emerging Business of the Year from the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber and the Best Hotel award in Event Publishing’s Best of Huntsville campaign

That trend doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon as last week 106 Jefferson was named the gold winner in the Boutique Hotel category of the 2024 MUSE Hotel Awards, recognizing the property’s upscale lifestyle design and amenities.

According to their website, The MUSE Hotel Awards “salute those devoted to perfection—establishments and hoteliers who consistently set the standard for enduring impressions in the world of hospitality.”

The 2024 MUSE Hotel Awards received a remarkable number of entries from countries worldwide, including the U.S., Germany, Japan, United Kingdom, France, China, Sweden, and more. Being selected as a MUSE Award winner is an honorable recognition that demonstrates 106 Jefferson’s success in its endeavor of integrating tradition with innovation within the hospitality industry.

The good news doesn’t stop there for the Crunkleton owned development, as the Revivalist, the restaurant located within 106 Jefferson, has been named the winner for the “Architectural Design Restaurant – Casual” category of the LIV Hospitality Design Awards, recognizing the restaurant’s elevated design.

Inspired by Huntsville’s space legacy, the property showcases art and visual references to the cosmos and various representations of outer space in pop culture and history.

While the hotel’s General Manger Jeremy Sadler is no doubt proud of the accomplishments, the shimmer of global accolades seems to pale in importance compared to the impact his hotel has on the Huntsville community.

“I won’t complain about winning awards. We’ve certainly we’ve been very fortunate and very blessed since we’ve been open,” Sadler explained. “The community has embraced us, and I’ve got a great team that does a good job, so it makes it fun. It’s obviously nice but we are personally much more concerned about our community and what impact we have locally.  But worldwide wins are great.”

Sadler credits the hotel’s success to multiple factors including, but not limited to the developers, his staff and the Huntsville community as a whole.

We’re not a hotel that has rockets all over the wall, if you will, being in Rocket City. But we definitely want to honor that history. Our goal is to be the living room of Huntsville. Our lobby is created from that perspective,” said Sadler.

Even in the midst of winning multiple awards, Sadler told the Business Journal that his team is still trying to innovate and expand the hotel’s amenities.

We are actually in the process now of going through an amenity change that will be taking place this summer that will bring in a higher quality type of amenity to our guest rooms. We’re always looking to stay in the forefront of the community’s mind, both locally, statewide, nationally, etc. But at the end of the day, we want to keep pushing ourselves, pushing our boundaries because guests will turn away if we at any point don’t fulfill our promise, which is delivering the best experience we possibly can,” said Sadler.
